A coworking space is one big area where many people from different areas come together with one common goal: getting their work done. When it comes to coworking spaces, there are many different types, and all of them serve different purposes. Choosing the right coworking space requires setting a budget and knowing exactly what your needs are.
Types of Coworking Spaces
Daphne CoWork offers three main types of coworking spaces, and these are designated, open and virtual. As the name suggests, in a designated workspace, you would get an assigned desk and 24-hour access to this desk. In addition to this, you will also get a mailing address, good internet access and up to three hours per month of access to the conference rooms. You will also have access to other amenities, such as restrooms, a kitchen and a coffee bar. In an open workspace, you would not have an assigned desk. There would just be a number of desks available, and these would all be on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, as with the designated workspace, you will get good internet access and up to three hours per month of access to the conference rooms. A number of amenities will be available, just like with the designated workspace. Finally, there is a virtual workspace. As the name suggests, this is completely online- you will not have an actual workspace area.
Which Space is Best?
As you have probably realized, each of the three spaces are very different. The one that you choose depends on the type of work that you do. If you are someone who always has a lot of things to get done and requires a distraction-free environment, then the designated workspace would be the best option. You would be able to work in the same place every single day without having to worry about others occupying the space. This could also be a great option for you if you are a reserved person and would prefer limited interactions with other people. With this being said, an open workspace is best for those who can work better around other people. This is also a good option for you if you only have a limited amount of work on any given day, as a desk for you to use is not guaranteed with the open workspace. Finally, the virtual workspace is good for those who do not anticipate actually coming into the facility to do work. This is just for those individuals who need a mailing address for their business.
Costs for Each Workspace
Each type of workspace costs a different amount of money because of what it comes with. The designated workspace costs 225 dollars per month, the open workspace costs 99 dollars a month and the virtual workspace costs 50 dollars per month.
